If you or a loved one is struggling with communication issues due to an acquired neurological disorder such as a stroke, brain injury, or progressive neurological disorder, Speech-Language Pathology with Jennifer can help you communicate clearly again. Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) addresses a wide variety of communication issues arising from brain injuries and stroke including aphasia (word finding challenges), apraxia/dysarthria (motor speech issues) and cognitive communication difficulties.

Speech therapy is also beneficial for adults who would like to work on accent modification or reduction. Our multicultural world is a beautiful thing but it can be frustrating to find that your accent gets in the way of communicating at home or at work. Accent reduction sessions will help you enunciate clearly and articulately when speaking English. With Jennifer, you will learn how to hear, feel, and modify your speech to communicate more clearly and with more satisfaction.

SLP sessions with Jennifer will support your recovery through a highly-personalized and multi-faceted therapeutic approach. Sessions can be held in your home or via tele-practice (online). SLP exercises will address problem areas and promote brain-body communication. Long-term recovery measures include discovering strategies, building routines and involving your family and loved ones so they know how to best support you in your healing journey.
