Jennifer Hicks

Toronto-Based Speech Language Pathologist

"Start thinking wellness, not illness."
— Kate Allatt, Stroke Survivor
A graduate of the University of Toronto, Jennifer began her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist in 1998 out of a desire to help people heal from neurological injuries or incidents and begin to lead a life of easier communication with their friends, family, colleagues, and loved ones. After many years of working at institutions such as the Bridgepoint Hospital, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, and the Aphasia Institute, Jennifer joined NRC Feldman and Associates and opened a private practice to continue her work in a more personalized and effective setting. She currently maintains a private practice and works with Branching out Case Management. Jennifer works with adults who have experienced stroke and brain trauma challenges as well as those who choose to reduce their accents to become clearer communicators in work and life. She is also a trained Communication Intermediary and a Clinical Professor (Adjunct) in Speech-Language Pathology at McMaster University.
